Installing RTC Agent

RTC Agent is a required component for establishing an RTC connection with a computer managed in eAuditor. The installation can be initiated remotely directly from the system console.

After RTC Agent is installed, the computer can be used to establish RTC sessions and use remote management functions.

RTC Agent installation

Go to the computers view

Go to:

IT Infrastructure -> Computers -> All

Select a computer

In the list, find the computer on which you want to install RTC Agent.

The computers view enables selection of the device on which RTC Agent will be installed.

Open the Actions menu

Click the Actions for the selected computer.

From the available tools, select Install RTC.

The Install RTC option available in the Actions menu of the selected computer.

To trigger the action press and hold the icon.

After selecting the option Install RTC the system sends an installation task to the computer.

The progress and result of the RTC Agent installation can be monitored in:

IT Management -> Tasks -> Logs

After installation

After RTC Agent is installed successfully, the computer is prepared to establish an RTC connection.

Is RTC Agent required to use RTC?

Yes. RTC Agent must be installed on the computer with which the administrator wants to establish an RTC connection.

Where is RTC Agent installed from?

The administrator initiates the RTC Agent installation directly from eAuditor through the option Install RTC available in the Actions menu of the selected computer.
