Detail card

The detail card collects information about the selected user, their assignments, activity, used devices, alerts, and related documents in one place.

To open it, go to the Users, and then click the name or login of the selected person.

Detail card for the selected user

The scope of the displayed information depends on the system configuration, available monitoring features, and data sent by computers.

The user card is divided into tabs:

  • Overview - key information, assignments, alerts, and notes.

  • Details - used and assigned computers, devices, and other relationships.

  • Activity - information about sessions, data transfer, visited websites, and print jobs.

  • Alerts - events and warnings associated with the user.

  • Documents - documents and folders assigned to the user.

The availability of individual tabs and data may depend on the active plan, assigned permissions, and monitoring configuration.

Overview

Tab Overview presents the most important information about the user and allows you to manage their basic data, assignments, and notes.

User information

The section may include, among others:

  • user name,

  • email address,

  • position,

  • tags,

  • last activity date.

To change the available information, click Edit, fill in the data, and then save the changes.

Editing the user's basic information.

Not all information must be detected automatically. Data such as email address, position, or tags may require manual completion.

Alerts

The alerts widget shows the number of events associated with the user by severity.

Alerts can be divided into:

  • Critical - events requiring prompt verification.

  • Warnings - events that may require administrator action.

  • Information - messages with a lower severity level.

Selecting a value may open a list of alerts corresponding to that severity level.

No alerts means the system has not recorded events that meet the configured conditions. This does not confirm that there are no potential issues at all.

Assignments

The section shows assignments related to the user:

  • Organizational structure - the department, branch, location, or other unit to which the user belongs.

  • Employee panel - a template that defines the information and functions to be available to the user in the upcoming employee panel.

To change the assignment, click Edit, select the appropriate structure or template, and then save the changes.

Activity status

The view can present a summary of activity time and information about the user's recent actions.

No activity does not always mean that the user did not use the device. The data may not have been sent yet, the computer may be Offline or the appropriate monitoring template has not been assigned.

Notes

The section Notes allows you to save additional information related to the user, for example:

  • organizational information,

  • notes about assigned equipment,

  • user support arrangements,

  • other information useful to the administrator.

To add or change a note, click Edit, enter the content, and then save the changes.

Tab Details allows you to review the computers, devices, and other assets associated with the user. From this level, you can also assign computers and other devices to the user.

zakładka Szczegóły
Devices and assets associated with the user.

Currently in use

The section shows the computers on which the user's current session was detected.

Information may include:

  • computer name,

  • session start time,

If the user is logged on to a computer, a Connect. It allows you to initiate a remote connection to the computer using the RTC feature.

dostępny przycisk Connect - RTC
Available Connect - RTC button.

The availability of the Connect depends on the computer status, RTC configuration, assigned permissions, and active plan.

Assigned computers

The section contains computers to which the user has been assigned as owner.

Depending on the available information, you can:

  • check the computer name and status,

  • open its detail card,

  • check the last connection,

  • add or change the computer assignment.

An assigned computer does not have to be the computer on which the user is currently logged on. The assignment specifies the device owner, while the section Currently in use shows the detected session.

User relationships

The relationships view shows the user's associations with other eAuditor Cloud assets.

These may include:

  • computers,

  • devices,

  • documents,

  • other assets associated with the user.

Relationships make it easy to see which assets are associated with a specific person without having to browse each section of the system separately.

Activity

Tab Activity presents data collected based on the user's actions on monitored computers.

zakładka Aktywność
Activity information for the selected user.

Activity summary

The view may include:

  • user activity time,

  • logon time,

  • idle periods,

  • last activity date,

  • the computer on which the activity was recorded.

The data presented in charts or widgets applies to the selected time range.

Data transfer

The section Data transfer shows the amount of data sent by the user on individual days. Values are presented in megabytes.

The view allows you to:

  • check daily data transfer,

  • compare activity across consecutive days,

  • detect an unusual increase in transmitted data,

  • identify a period requiring closer analysis.

High data transfer does not necessarily indicate an incident. It may result from file synchronization, updates, backup, or routine work, among other things. The result should be analyzed together with the user's other activity.

Recent sessions

The section Last seen shows the user's most recent sessions.

Information may include:

  • the computer on which the user was logged on,

  • session start date and time,

  • session end date and time,

The data allows you to check when and on which computers the user used their account.

Visited websites

If website monitoring is active, the system can display:

  • the address or domain of the visited website,

  • website category,

  • visit time,

  • number of visits,

  • risk level,

  • the computer from which the connection was recorded.

The data can be searched, filtered, and analyzed for the selected time range.

The domain may also appear on the list if it was triggered in the background by an application, ad, script, redirect, or embedded element on another website. The entry itself does not always confirm that the user intentionally opened the site.

If print monitoring is available and configured, the user card may present a summary of printing operations.

Information may include:

  • document name,

  • printer,

  • number of pages or copies,

  • print format,

  • color usage,

  • date of execution,

  • the computer from which the print job was performed.

The print cost visible in the upper right corner is configured in Tools -> Configuration

Alerts

Tab Alerts shows events associated with the user.

The list may include:

  • severity level,

  • alert name,

  • event description,

  • date and time of occurrence,

Available filters allow you to narrow results by parameters such as severity or time range.

No alerts may mean that no events meeting the configured conditions were detected. However, this does not confirm that there are no potential issues at all.

Documents

Tab Documents allows you to store and organize files associated with the user.

zakładka Dokumenty
Documents and folders assigned to the user.

Folders

Documents can be organized in folders, for example:

  • user documents,

  • equipment handover reports,

  • statements,

  • other materials related to the user.

Available actions

Depending on your permissions, you can:

  • add a document,

  • download a file,

  • move a document to another folder,

  • delete a document,

  • create a folder.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the user card not contain activity data?

The appropriate monitoring template may not be configured or assigned to the computer. Also check the status of eAgent, the device's last connection, and the selected time range.

What is the difference between an assigned computer and a currently used computer?

An assigned computer is a device for which the user has been designated as the owner. A currently used computer is the device on which the system detected their current or most recent session. These do not have to be the same device.

Why is the user shown as logged on to several computers?

The user may have had active sessions on several devices. It is also possible that one of the computers has not yet sent the session end information. Check the last activity and connection time of each device.

Why is there no Connect button next to the computer?

The computer may be Offline, RTC may not be configured, or the administrator account may not have the required permissions. Connection availability may also depend on the active plan.

Does assigning a computer mean that the user is logged on to it?

No. The assignment indicates the device owner. Logon information is determined separately based on the session detected on the computer.

Why does the visited website appear on the list even though the user did not open it?

The domain may have been triggered in the background by an ad, script, redirect, application, or embedded element on another website. Before drawing conclusions, check the visit time, number of connections, and the remaining activity context.

Is the employee panel already available?

No. The feature is under development. Ultimately, the user will be able to launch the panel from a desktop icon and see the information and functions defined in the assigned template.

Are documents added to the card stored on the user's computer?

No. Documents assigned in the card are managed in eAuditor Cloud. Adding them does not automatically save the files on the user's computer.
