Device overview

View Devices enables browsing devices registered in eAuditor and quickly searching for the information you need.

Using the table, you can review the basic device data, adjust the range of displayed information, apply filters, and go to Detail Card of the selected device.

How do I open the Devices view?

Go to IT Infrastructure > Devices.

The system will display a table containing the devices added to eAuditor.

Information available in the table

The table allows you to quickly review basic information about devices.

Depending on the view configuration, the following are available, among others:

Column	Description
Device	The name of the device added to the system.
Type	Device type, e.g., printer, monitor, USB drive.
Model	Device model.
Tags	Tags assigned to the device.
Structure	The device's place in the organizational structure, assigned by the administrator.
Device ID	Unique device identifier.
Person	Person assigned to the device.

The scope of available information may vary depending on the device type and the method by which it was added or detected in the system.

How do I find a device?

If the list contains many devices, use the search field or filters.

Open the device list

Go to IT Infrastructure > Devices.

Search for a device

Use the search field to find a device based on the available information.

Apply filters

If you need more precise results, apply a filter in the appropriate table column.

In this way, you can narrow the view to, for example, devices of a specific type, model, or assignment.

Customizing the view

Using the option Column view you can decide which information will be visible in the table.

You can:

• display additional columns,

• hide unnecessary columns,

• change the order of displayed columns.

This allows you to tailor the table to the information you use most often.

How do I check device details?

Click the device name in the table to open its Detail Card.

There you will find additional information about the selected device, including available relationships, users, alerts, and documents.

How do I perform an operation on a device?

Operations related to editing, assigning, and deleting devices are available from the view Devices.

It is also possible to perform selected operations on multiple devices.

Frequently asked questions

How do I quickly find a specific device?

Use the search field or the filters available in the table. If you have a large number of devices, you can also display additional columns that will make it easier to identify the correct entry.

Why can't I see the column I need?

Not all available columns must be visible by default. Open Column view and check whether the required column is enabled.

Can I change the order of columns?

Yes. In the settings Column view you can adjust the order of the information displayed in the table.

Why can't I see a device that was previously on the list?

Check whether the list has not been restricted by the search field or active filters. Clear the applied criteria and check the device list again.

How do I open detailed information about a device?

Click the device name in the table. The system will open its Detail Card.

Can I manually add a device that is not on the list?
